Linda participates in Shannon Loutitt's 100 Mile Journey

Linda was one of a handful of runners who joined Shannon Loutitt to help her acheive her amazing re-creation of this historic 100 mile Journey of Billy Loutitt, from Edmonton to Athabaska.

In the process, Linda acheived her own personal best - an ultramarathon distance of 53km.

Like our Canadian Athletes, who wish to represent our country and be the best they can be in their respective sports, Linda took it upon herself to push my personal physical limits.

Linda was coached by Ray Zahab, Canada's adventure runner.

See www.RayZahab.com
and www.i2p.com to see some of Ray's exploits.
"Linda, you published a book about marathon runners, it's just a little farther"

Linda ran 53K to commemorate her own 50 years on this planet and also for the Canadian Athletes representing our country in Beijing.

To our athletes, you have amazing hearts, muscles, lungs and most of all a powerful MIND!
Thanks for the inspiration you give all Canadians, especially our children.
Be the role models we know you aspire to be!
