It occurred to me, as I crossed my own finish line in New York City, November of 2002, that I had been inspired, numerous times, by stories of people doing exactly the same thing. There are thousands of stories out there, Canadians from coast to coast with accounts of their own odyssey.

My mission is to attract marathoners who wish to share their stories on this web site. A selection of these stories will be chosen for publication.  Proceeds from the sales of this, "Canadian Marathon Stories" book will be donated to charities.

Sometimes, when you run the distance, inspiration goes a very long way.
