I am calm and confident once I get on the bus that takes me to Buffalo N.Y, the start line of the Niagara Falls Marathon. For now it is drizzling and the winds are light; later, the overcast skies made running my third 42.2K race, the best ever.

For me, this marathon is all about experiencing the people I meet along the way, some in flesh and some conjured in my mind. Each and every one of them will be responsible for my crossing the finish line.
