Inspired by my friend's decision to get involved with The Arthritis Society's Joints In Motion (JIM) program, I decided to start my thirties in a significant manner. I signed up for the JIM marathon two days before my 30th birthday.

My marathon is in Flanders Fields, Ypres, Belgium. Try as I might to focus on enjoying myself that day, I was plagued with doubts, apprehensions and tons of nervousness.
The race starts!
